  • Assistance to the Sao Paulo State Secretariat of Energy and Sewage Treatment in asking a US$ 400 million loan from a Japanese organism for the “Depollution of the Tiete River” project;

  • Assistance to a Heavy Equipment Corporation of Japan, in the implementation of the steel plant of Tubarao (Espirito Santo State, Brazil);

  • Assistance to an Industry in the implementation of the thermo-electric plant of Balbina (State of Amazon, Brazil);

  • Assistance in securing loan to the Goias State Rural Electrification project. This project, worth US$ 102.3 million, was considered as exemplary due to its excellent outcome;

  • Liaison between an automototive company and Goias State Secretariat of Industry, Trade and Tourism in signing the protocol for the construction of a US$ 56 million assembly plant of an automotive corporation from Japan, in the city of Catalao, Brazil;

 

  • Liaison for an automotive corporation before the External Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Brazil) in order to include the company in the last stage of the Brazilian automotive regimen for the expansion of its assembly plant in Catalao;

  • Integral assistance to the Tocantins Government in the State Roadway Project. Following up all stages of the project, starting with the elaboration of the proposal letter, going through the International Affairs Secretariat (SEAIN), the technical examination of the proposal (GTEC), and negotiating with the External Financing Commission (COFIEX) of the Ministry of Planning and Budget. Also following up Internal and external negotiations with an financing agent in the matters referring to the National Treasure Secretariat, PGFN and National Senate, and finally the signature of the contract in Barcelona during an Inter-American Development Bank meeting;

 

  • Integral assistance to the Tocantins State government in the rural electrification project (PERTINS), including the elaboration of the proposal letter, following up at the SEAIN, GTECC and COFIEX of the Ministry of Planning and Budget. Kenbridge participated in the internal negotiations of the contract drafts, in the coordination of bilateral financing and in formal negotiations in Tokyo;

  • Assistance to the Rondonia State government in securing a US$ 34 million loan in a state roadway project;

  • Integral assistance to the Tocantins State Government for the Roadway Project Phase 2, starting with the elaboration of the proposal letter, following up in the International Affairs Secretariat (SEAIN) of Ministry of Planning and Budget, and representing the state in the official meeting;

  • Contract for services of economic and financial survey;

  • Elaboration of a feasibility study for a Japanese Consultant Institute, for the installation of a US$ 65 million electric energy generator on a garbage incineration plant in the city of Callao, Peru;

  • Elaboration of a feasibility study for a Heavy Industry Corporation, for the construction of a 240 MW natural gas thermo-electrical plant worth US$ 165 million in the city of Senador Canedo (Goias State, Brazil);;

  • Elaboration of technical cooperation project in partnership with the Ministry of Mines and Energy (Brazil), entitled “Development of a Management Mechanism for Renewable Energy Services in Poor Communities”;

  • Elaboration of survey reports;

  • Broad experience in organizing, coordinating and participating in national and international missions;

  • IImplementation of the Goias State Mechanized Patrol project, worth US$ 26.674 million;

  • Implementation of the Tocantins State Mechanized Patrol project, in the total amount of US$ 30 million;

  • Data prospecting and survey for an International Bank, on the demand for financing projects in the Amazon region related to environmental conservation;

  • Elaboration and submission of Brazilian Project Idea Notes (PINs) classified as follows:

    

  • Landfill to gas projects;

  • Hydro power plants;

  • Industrial sector, including fuel switching and efficiency;

  • transport sector; and

  • projects for Japan under the Japan Acceleration Program.

  • Participation in the “Japan Carbon Investors Forum” held in Tokyo, Japan. There Kenbridge introduced Brazil’s policies with respect to the Kyoto Mechanisms, priority sectors and potential projects - with the aim of furthering mutual understanding between the Japanese private sector and the host country, Brazil;

  • Donation project for grassroots poverty reduction of the Japanese Embassy in Brazil.
